Scholarships
The Bethel Education Foundation Scholarship provides a $1,000 scholarship for up to three graduating seniors who need financial assistance in order to further their education at an accredited 4-year college/university on a full-time basis.
Criteria:
Bethel High School students should contact the guidance office to access the application, and may request that their guidance counselor submit the guidance form separately from student forms.
Students who live in Bethel, CT but are graduating from other schools should download the application files below for submission.
DEADLINE: Monday, April 1, 2024 11:45pm ET.
Criteria:
- Applicant must be a resident of Bethel, CT and a U.S. Citizen.
- Applicant requires financial assistance in order to further their education at an accredited four-year college or university on a full-time basis.
- Applicant must not have been granted a full scholarship to any institution of higher learning.
- Applicant must have a record of solid academic achievement in a college-preparatory curriculum.
- Applicant must demonstrate traits of high personal character. (Student should have a record of community service.)

Award:
Questions and completed applications should be emailed to [email protected].
- Winners’ names will be announced at the Senior Awards ceremony. A check will be mailed to awardees and made out to the accredited institution in which the student is enrolled. Scholarship funds will not be paid directly, nor reimbursed, to an award recipient.
- This scholarship is non-renewable.
- Family members of current BEF Directors are not eligible.
